Johnson’s music for the Morning, Communion, and Evening Services (Te Deum, Jubilate, Benedictus, Creed, Magnificat, and Nunc dimittis (The Complete Works of Robert Johnson, Nos. 14–19) is written entirely in homophonic style and probably dates from the 1550s. These are set for four voices (MCTB).
