Scotland Introducing is an initiative designed by Showcase Scotland Expo to introduce artists to new audiences across England.

The deadline to apply is 23.59 on Sunday 6th September 2026.

Showcase Scotland Expo are delighted to continue our partnership with English Folk EXPO with a special Scottish showcase at the 2027 edition of the conference.

There are 2 showcase slots available and 20 artists in total will be featured at our trade stand.

New Music Scotland's annual sector gathering returns in 2026 in a new shape. Replacing the previous awards format, we're delighted to bring the sector together for a gathering and celebration of the people, organisations and ideas shaping new music in Scotland. Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August 2026 | The Boardwalk, Glasgow

Now’s The Time is a new jazz sector development project set up by Creative Scotland and managed by independent research agency EKOS, working with jazz specialist and organiser Nod Knowles.

The project is informed by recent research by Edinburgh Napier University and inspired by moments when the jazz community has come together to share experiences and ideas. We hope that the project will tap into the sector’s collective energy and imagination and that it will be the next practical step to the research report.
