WOMEX 2026 Bursary Scheme Now Open
This year, Creative Scotland are offering one bursary of £1250. This is considered a contribution towards registration, travel & accommodation costs which will be booked by the applicant themselves.
Who can apply?
Applicants should be individuals or organisations working in or with artists in traditional, folk, roots, jazz, or global music in Scotland and/or Scotland’s indigenous languages.
Applicants must be currently resident in Scotland
Applicants must be first or second-time attendees at WOMEX or engaging with the event in a new capacity from previous attendance.
Please note- organisations in receipt of Multi-Year Funding are not eligible to apply.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Tuesday 11 August 2026.
