Treptow - for string orchestra
Treptow - for string quartet

This ten-minute-long atmospheric piece for strings was inspired by the awesome Soviet war memorial (sowjetisches Ehrenmal) in Treptower Park in east Berlin.

The string orchestra version won the 2005 Emre Araci composition prize. The first performance was given on 29th April 2005, conducted by James Lowe. Treptow is the composer's most-performed work.
