Caledon consists of classically-trained singers, Alan Beck, Jamie MacDougall and Ivan Sharpe, and their musical director and accompanist Michael Barnett. Many countries have their own three tenors, but very few have the depth of material available to them that is Scots song.

Recorded in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Shrewsbury and the famous Smecky sound stage in Prague with The City of Prague Symphony Orchestra, Caledon bring a whole new dimension to Scots song, full orchestra and chorus (The Caradoc Chorus) blending seamlessly with pipes and drums, and celtic instrumentalists - and three of the finest voices in Scotland. From the hush of a Jacobite lament to the swagger of a Celtic rock anthem, we bring you 'The Power and The Passion'.

With this magnificent debut solo album, Caledon has taken Scots song to a completely new level. Lush orchestral arrangements, exquisite harmonies and an all-pervading sense of drama combine perfectly to compliment Scotland's "three devine voices" (Edinburgh Evening News), giving an overall experience more akin to an epic film score than a concert of Scottish music. And beautiful melody and emotive poetry, they resonate with all nationalities; in fact, with anyone who recognises the feelings of love and longing, hope and home, desire and despair - truly and album of power and passion.
