Full time professional, now living in California. Tours extensively and performs throughout North America and Europe, frequently returning to Scotland. Vast repertoire with particular interests in Scottish fiddle music of the 18th and early 19th century. Also writes his own material. Several recordings available on the Culburnie label.
Alasdair Fraser's 2004 album, 'Fire & Grace', recorded with cellist, Natalie Haas, went on to win Album of the Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards, 2004.
