Formed in the Outer Hebrides in 1973, their path has been a long and twisted one through the world of Gaelic rock. There were ten years between their first album (1977) and their signing to a major label, Chrysalis, after the success of their `Cutter and the Clan' album. Following the departure of singer Donnie Munro in 1997, the band resurfaced with a new vocalist, Canadian Bruce Guthro, on their own Ridge Records for the album `In Search of Angels'.
