Prizewinner at many international competitions. Won the Maisie Lewis Young Artists Award (1993) resulting in a Purcell debut. Regularly performs at guitar festivals worldwide. Recordings broadcast by BBC, Classic FM, ABC and Radio France. Is a recording artist with BGS Records who released ...the isle is full of noises... a disc dedicated to new Scottish music (1997). Has commissioned works by Gordon McPherson (guitar concerto) and recorded the same with Psappha in 2001. Also works with Don Paterson (poet).
