The Red Ensemble: THREAD

Glasgow Cultural Enterprise are wrking on a new Multi Media Project with The Red Ensemble under the title THREAD. This ambitious project will see participants work with Improvised Sound, Sound Production, Video Production and Visual Art over the three day period.

The projects aim is to inspire an 'arts community' enviroment, which will encourage performers and artists to create in an uncompetitive, encouraging atmosphere. The aim is to produce diverse, original, experimental arts works, but with a connecting tread running though them.
The red Ensemble will work with, sound engineers, video production artists, photographers, visual artists and musicians. Participants will be recruited from University of Strathclyde, Glsagow School of Art and artists and musiciancs known to the ensemble.

It is hoped that the project will end with an exhibition/installation later in the year.
