Scottish Music Centre announce Composition Marathon Special Offer

With just over a week to go till the Scottish Music Centre Composition Marathon, programmed as part of Glasgow Concert Halls’ MINIMAL EXTREME, Glasgow’s chic Sapporo Teppanyaki have joined the project as supporting partners, offering audiences two fantastic special offers on Sunday 25th March 2012.

The Scottish Music Centre Composition Marathon is perfectly timed to allow you to enjoy a truly theatrical pre or post-concert meal, with Sapporo offering ticket holders an all day 20% discount on their à la carte menu as well as an early diner menu with 3 courses for £14.95 available between 16:30 and 18:30. The talented chefs delight in displaying their incredible skills as they chop, season and cook each dish, leaving you amazed by a whirl of movement and colour as they spin, flip and catch ingredients, and dazzle with culinary tricks.

This exciting dining experience is the perfect compliment to the project, which marks a world-first for composition, offering audiences the unique opportunity to experience the latest, cutting-edge contemporary classical music of Scotland as written by Chris Hutchings, Claire McCue, Derek Ball, Eve Harrison, Graeme Ronald, Julien Lonchamp, Kevan O'Reilly, Peter MacCalman, Kim Moore and Matthew Whiteside and premièred by five of Scotland’s top chamber ensembles: Daniel’s Beard, Ensemble Thing, Peter Gregson with Keith Beattie and Live Music Now’s Flercussion and Pure Brass.
