Both of the ensemble’s featured composers are in action with works highlighting the clarinet. The Quintet by Brahms is widely regarded as being his crowning achievement when it comes to chamber music. Complementi explores the different characters of the instruments involved (the same line up as for Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time) before giving the musical ideas a chance to 'interpenetrate' each other. Prokofiev's Overture provides a toe-tapping start with melodies drawn from the Klezmer melodies of Eastern Europe.

Brahms : Clarinet Quintet Op.115
Wilson : Complementi
Prokofiev : Overture on Hebrew Themes Op.34
