A work in four scenes for solo piano.
Each of the nineteen months of the Baha'i cvalendar is given the name of one of the attributes of God. The names of the months were given by the Bab, who drew them from the nineteen names of God invoked in a prayer said during the month of fasting in Shi'ih Islam. The fifth month is called 'Nur' meaning Light.
Turning to Chambers Twentieth Century Dictionary, the definitions of the word light made interesting reading; this was when the inspiration for this work started to flow.
