Spontaneous perhaps, but this work is nevertheless derived from an ordered series of pitches and rhythmic motifs. There is also explored the often unexpected juxtaposition of pure and distorted sounds, where vibrant rhythmic drive is diverted by a less energetic central movement, and where spontaneity and order are in constant conflict.
