Come along to the first of Enterprise Music Scotland’s ‘Cadogan Sessions’: A series of talks at our brand-new office space, focusing on an assortment of topics related to chamber music.
At our opening session ‘Getting the Gigs’, you can discover the range of opportunities and support offered to chamber musicians by EMS. We will discuss a variety of ideas to help your ensemble flourish including –
• Marketing and Promotion
• Networking and Making Contacts
• Working with Promoters
• The Booking Process
• Finding Opportunities
• Building a Career in Chamber Music
We will also be joined by Classical Guitarist and Educator Matthew McAllister. Widely regarded as one of the most exciting and talented Guitarists in Europe, Matthew has been delighting audiences worldwide with his insightful performances and effortless presentation in a concert career spanning well over a decade. Matthew will share his experiences, giving practical advice on the steps that you can take to establish and promote your ensemble. With a great online presence, Matthew will also discuss ways of connecting with new audiences through social media and the internet.
There will also be time available after the talk to access support from EMS and for further Networking over a glass of wine.
