Opera Sparks?was launched in 2016 as a competition to find Scotland?s most talented young composers and writers. Selected by a panel including Music Director Stuart Stratford, Head of Music Derek Clark and director Olivia Fuchs (In?s de Castro?2015), the three short works will be performed by?Scottish Opera?s Connect Company??16 to 21 year old singers, instrumentalists and stage managers ? in April 2018 in celebration of its 10th anniversary, and as part of Scotland’s?Year of Young People 2018.
