The BBC Philharmonic performs in The Bridgewater Hall Manchester, around
the country and overseas. All its concerts are broadcast on Radio 3,
and it is one of the most recorded orchestras in the world, recording 10
CDs a year under its an exclusive contract with Chandos Records.

The Philharmonic bring music to the community through workshops and
concerts. It is presently offering a variety of touring workshops for
performance in schools, colleges and community venues, and "Pop-up"
concerts where smaller ensembles play in unusual settings. For example a
group of 20 musicians recently played the first ever supermarket
symphony!
