Studied with Max Rostal in Berne and New England Conservatory, Boston. Head of strings at one of the largest colleges in Europe. He has freelanced with all the major orchestras in Scotland. Broadcast on radio and television. Gives recitals and leads the Saltire Quartet. Performs with Julia Lynch (piano). The duo Two's Company appears in a series of concerts in the Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow, (first Saturday of the month) performing contemporary music.
Performers are: Hector Scott (violin/viola) and Shinobu Miki (clarinet).
