The Cosmics’ released two albums on their own label before releasing a compilation of them both on Alan McGee’s Poptones Records. “Enjoy The Melodic Sunshine” went on to sell 100,000 copies, generating two top 40 hit singles along the way, whilst the band ploughed through a mammoth tour schedule that included guest slots U2 amongst others.

The first taste of the current Cosmic Rough Riders album, entitled “Too Close To See Far”, came when the single “Because You” was released in June 2003, it entered the UK singles chart at number 34 – becoming the bands 3rd successive top 40 hit single and their highest entry yet. The band continues to tour & promote themselves throughout the world with ‘Too Close To See Far’ being released in Japan and the USA this year.
