Programme Note
The title tells you absolutely nothing about this music except that it is likely to be performed by 160 fingers (barring accident or injury). The piece merely attempts to explore the sonorities and textures which are unavailable on only one or two pianos. It was commissioned for the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama's Piano Festival in 2009 and was first performed there in June of that year.
